Wole Soyinka as INEC Boss?

We all know that Maurice Iwu is no longer the Boss of the Independent National Electoral Commission and the Federal Government has already started looking for a replacement. And guess whose name came up as Iwu's likely successor.??? Prof Wole Soyinka.

Others are Ishola Williams, Olisa Agbakoba, Attahiru Jega, Nuhu Ribadu, and Abubakar Umar.

I see him winning and becoming a good boss. The first thing anyone shld do is change the entire system of voting(construct offices where they will have computers and only the headquaters (INEC) will have access to the computer software pple would vote in) Just like it is done in the states (man the office with light and educated staff, get a card system for voters or use Nigerian passport to be able to vote) Naija needs to stop the foolishness of paper voting abeg and unauthorized hands from collecting the vote(my whole essence of this essay)!

I have always admired him, both as an activist and a critique, hope they don’t corrupt him for me oh!

I don't think they can ever corrupt Wole Soyinka. My only fear is that they will attempt to kill him. This might be their attempt to eliminate him. But I have a feeling he may refuse the job like he has done in the past. That is someone who has a conscience.

Only wondering if he is going to accept this offer. I hope he does, so he can captain the boat he has always critisized.

I will vote for soyinka for president. He has a good perspective about Nigeria, the problems in Nigeria, and very honest about it. I know he will not accept the offer bcos he doesn't seem to be interested in the political affairs or taking a position. Also, he's very private, and hopefully they don't try to assasinate him.

Nigerian politics is not for him.

I TRUST DAT MAN WILL REFUSE THE OFFER.BUT SINCERELY,THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR HIM TO REALLY PROOF THAT HE LOVES THE MASSES TRULY AND UNCONDITIONALLY.
