Lagos Bans Okada Ride By Pregnant Women, School Children...

Lagos State Government has set July 1 for the full enforcement of road traffic laws and regulations guiding motorcycle taxi (Okada) operation, and it will be illegal from that date for school children, pregnant women, and women with babies strapped on their backs to use this mode of transport.

Good one, but what the alternative as this kids and mothers would have to trek. me thinks BRT buses should be set aside at much cheaper rate for ONLY school kids in the morning and evening.

Ok, so since they're banning this, what is the alternative low cost method of transportation put into place to replace okada for this segment of citizens?

I'm not knocking the ban, I think okadas are dangerous, but I don't know anyone who would choose an okada if they had other reasonable forms of transportation.

100% in agreement

Discrimination!!! any alternative method of transportation for these people? Especially pregnant women who are less able to walk a long distance. Not everyone can afford getting a cab

I'm worried here!!!!

WHAT ALTRENATIVE IS GIVEN TO THEM!!! I hope he realizes that the people who use this would not if they could afford otherwise or tolerate the hustles of catching a bus from a rowdy bus-stop.

Until i know wht the other given option is, Fashola looses 10 points with me on this note.

I just saw porselene skin products online and the 'hype' makes it sound like a miracle product. Has anyone used it? I'd like to know pls and how good it is. I currently use Clarins products but since I got pregnant, my facial skin has gone haywire with acne vulgaris!
