Opening ceremony of the 2010 World Cup

Did you guys watch the opening ceremony of 2010 World Cup that took place some hours ago in SA?
Our Femi Kuti performed...yeeeeh!
And Archbishop Desmond Tutu danced...high point for me...:-).
And R Kelly gave a resounding performance.
If you watched it, what do you think of it?
Was it spectacular or was it spectacular?
Go Africa!!!
So proud to be African right now!!!

Yeah it i was all emotional. But honestly i dont think femi represented Nigerians with his Bang, Bang song. My only consolation is that it was in pigin. Boy, he needs to rethink properly wen next he's representing us in a world event. Is there no any other decent song in all his tracks?

anon 6.09pm You're taking panadol for another person's headache. You think the South Africans didn't know the meaning of the song before they allowed it such a headline-ish position in the opening ceremony? and their babes, with those their short skirts they flip upwards with a toss of their hip letting their kpata show lol. If na naija the binding and casting wey go follow no go get pair, sha they are 'them' are we are 'we' as we say in naija, na their way be that.
ps. even though it was in pidgin, any one can understand 'she said squeeze me now, love me now ' hahaha! Now you have to go and take panadol extra, filee!
