Tomi Alive Campaign - young mother with chronic kidney disease needs your help

 Lanre and sick wife, Tomi

One of Nigeria's most promising upcoming artists, Lanre Fakeye, popularly known as Shakomended needs our help. His young wife, Mrs. Oluwatomilayo Mayowa Fakeye, a 27 year old mother of one was diagnosed with End-Stage Chronic kidney Disease and requires an urgent kidney transplant which will gulp about six million Naira (N6, 000, 000) to enable her lead a normal life.

Recently a fund raising event tagged Tomi Alive Concert (Pictures below) was held for her at Ikeja, Lagos and quite a large number of artists were there to perform for free and raise funds for Tomi. but were only able to raise about N500, 000. Another N5.5m is needed.

Tomi (right)

Shakomended is on his knees begging you all to help him. "My wife's life is hanging on a thread and I am almost turning into an emotional wreck, not just because I love my wife, but because my daughter needs her mother to grow up in a loving home."

Let him try to reach out to the politicians. If he does not know anyone through his friends and well known artists he can do that. They will assist him.

May God grant a healing to this lady, abeg because there are way too many people stretched thin and too few rich people willing to help.

please lets be sincere with ourselves and not talk gibberish, the nigerian entertainment industry is so big right now where big tyme artists get paid in the millions. my question is can't nigeria's top six artistes or music moguls come up with the needed funds. we live in a world where u just dont need to make money and flaunt ur wealth rather we need to be socially responsible.
its high time we lay blame on the doorstep of public office holders only, every nigerian i repeat every nigerian including myself needs to search their soul and be truthful, y do we need to spend big amount of money on extremely crazy things and see our brother die in penury. It saddens me to see a fellow being wanting to raise six million and they could only come up with 500,000. I heard a particular church paid 17 million naira to rent a hall, i wont lay blame on the church cos its private but again the question is how many churches are socially reponsible?pls for God sake its only a short life and would end in a blink. i remember my primary school days just like yesterday and i'm now a grown man,but truth be told we will die soon and be accountable to the almighty.Enough said
