Boris Kodjo chides world leaders for not staging unity walk for the people killed in Baga

Hollywood actor Boris Kodjoe posted this message on his instagram page this evening chastising world leaders on their silence over the 2000 people reportedly killed in Baga by Boko Haram. Earlier today, world leaders including Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, UK's David Cameron, Angela Merkel of Germany and others took to the streets of Paris for a solidarity march for the 12 cartoonists killed by terrorists. Actor Marlon Wayans also wrote about the people killed in Baga.

Black lives don't matter to them. They even prefer the so called arab people to us, (iraq, syria, afgan). Left for them our population is too much. Anything to reduce the black population on earth, isn't that why they sent ebola. Boko is doing their lab work for them. They are glad.

Won't such march lead to more killings? The insecurity in d country is too much for that. We just need permanent solution not solidarity march.

People should search their conscience and understand why no one takes matters relating to BH in Nigeria seriously.

Why should the world leaders bother when the leaders of Nigeria are not in the least bothered?

Unknown said...

Why would they march when our own president is busy touring round Nigeria 4 his upcoming elections. Its a shame on our leaders path.

Okay Marlon, Boris and other complainers, why don't you all stage your own protests so that others will follow your lead instead of whining about those who are fighting for what they believe in? If you give a damn about the lives lost in Baga or Nigeria as a whole then get off the social media and go out to the streets to let your voices be heard. Until then!

ary said...

Why would the world leaders pay attention when our leaders turn deaf ear to the situation? Let's not bother people who have better things to do! Heaven help those who help themselves. Nigeria has made it seem like we don't need help, so why should the world bother?!

God Will Never Forsake Nigeria no matter what. It is well with Nigeria. World leaders are only human, we need God's support not human support. Boko harm will one day be a thing of the past. Strongly believe this. Shalom

Thanks very much Boris for your concern brother. It's great that people like you are concerned about this tragedy when Nigerians themselves are more concerned with election and other things. Nobody cares about the dead ones, what is even being done to help displaced and at the same time bereaved persons who are trekking thousand miles to safety. Can't the freaking Nigerian government provide such helps like transport? They are more concerned with campaign cars and all. Injustice of a humongous measure is going on in this country. Thanks Boris for recognizing that even when a greater part of the Nigerian people and the worl out there do not recognize what is happening here.

Well from the little i know, it mourn with those who mourn, not mourn with those who are relaxed and campaigning. the two major political parties are birds of the same feathers. Goodluck is the president of the nation and the APC presidential candidtate is a leader from that region. so they both should be held accountable and responsibile but unfortunately it doesnt look like they care for what ever reason. This is a prove that we do not have a change or opposition yet. they are all birds of the same feathers, and Nigerians must stand up against this present crop of leaders. they are destroying us faster than we can imagine. they Politicize everything. the APC instead of supporting the government in this fight when it was starting was busy hating and crying wolf that the government is destroying his region and massacring his people.

Give a typical naija man access to money and numerous pretty women or a lady money and the latest phone then the affairs of their country can go up in flames. The problem is not the nigerian govt. it's we the people problem. What's the worth for a nigerian life. Less than zero. We place no value on ourselves that's why a political party that just segregated can come up with two dead aspirants like Jonathan and Buhari and we the people feel cool with it and throw our support.
We as a people r dead in thoughts and desire for a better Nigeria compared to France where they went behind the dead and throw full support and when sarkosky wasn't doing good they pushed him out for hollande. Fresh legs and fresh hands not some rusty retired 30yrs inactive rag to take over or some dude without personal desire to improve or control his cabinet rule us. We all know 2b is stolen, political thieves are hosting aspirants yet we praise them and throw our votes behind them. What do we expect wen they win?? Vouch for their political lobbyist of course.
Gordon brown made a silly mistake by saying something wrong in the media and it cost his party the vote till today. Some dude will come up and say he is changed and we all embrace after him. In reality pdp and apc should be dead right now for bringing those two dead aspirants. Instead of us to make sense and voice our opinion saying we don't want the two for a better life for Nigeria and increase the worth of a nigerian life so the world will also value us, we sit and praise their dead acts and boost their silliness with our stupidity and lack of genuine desire for greatness. Let's wake up Nigeria to reality. There is nothing like "God help us or God bless Nigeria" God will surely bless but it needs the people to make the blessing active. Change starts from the heart before it spreads to actions. If your heart and mind r dead then u will be ruled by king of the dead.
Obama didn't rule as a dead governor or something. He was accountable from his previous post and usa belived in him even the white supremacist.
Please let us make a change starting with ourselves and that will spread. It sickens me when I see the two dead aspirants. If the republicans had brought a better aspirant than mitt Romney they might have beat Obama to his game but he wasn't good enough regardless he was white. Lesson. We should quit taking people just by their words but desire to achieve and past records. Also usa won't reelect george bush if he came up to contest presidency. We recycle political feaces in Nigeria like its nothing.
