Photos: 36 buildings burnt as Diesel tanker rams into houses in Lagos and explodes

About 36 houses were burnt early this morning after a tanker loaded with Diesel lost break at Idimu bus stop in Lagos, rammed into some houses close to the bus stop and exploded. Fortunately no one was killed in the incident. This incident comes just four days after a fire incident caused by a petrol tanker happened in the Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos state. It was the worst experience I have had after Jan 27 bomb blast. The first sound erupted around 12:09am following a fire outburst, everyone was scared to death cos the place was close to pipeline. Emergency aid arrived 12:55am. Seriously I thought the whole community would become aches. I really thank God no life was lost. Thank God...

The FRSC need to be on the tail of all these diesel trucks, cos those things are moving death traps. Government also needs to makes laws to manage the movement of these trucks cos in 2 weeks they have caused millions in damages not to talk of lives lost.

This is not about APC or PDP or change, Nigeria govt needs to stop the use of this trucks especially by untrained drivers. Everywhere in Nigeria is on fire caused by petrol tankers
