Photos: Buhari holds meeting with governors, agree to forego bailout plan

President Buhari had a meeting with state governors this morning to discuss on the financial crisis most states are currently facing. At the end of the meeting President Buhari and the Governors resolved to forego the proposed financial bailout plan.

The governors suggested that the Federal government refund state governors all the money owed them for Federal Government projects carried out in their states. The governors also asked that the tax paid by the Nigeria Natural Liquefied Gas Company be paid into the Federation Account and be shared.

Present at the meeting which held at the Council chambers in the Presidential villa were; Vice President Osinbajo, Governors of Rivers, Ogun, Imo, Gombe, Benue, Delta, Niger, Kano, Katsina, Zamfara, Kogi, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi, Kwara, Taraba, Ekiti, Ondo, Kaduna, Oyo, Osun, Edo, Anambra, Sokoto, Ebonyi, Lagos, Adamawa, Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Yobe States. Deputy governors of Bayelsa and Plateau states sent in their deputy governors to represent them.

Now wike wants to enjoy something he and that imbecilic ex president Jonathan kept from his predecessor ameachi, if federal government under Goodluck Jonathan's regime had paid rivers state the N150 billion owed to them, I wonder if all this crisis of abandoned projects and unpaid salaries would have come up.

I wonder why states can't be independent. What's the essence of having governors. U want to share money from the liquefied natural gas abi, is it the one that comes from north or south west. Everymonth u all will be waiting to enjoy money from the south south and south east abi. Before I forgot I want to know if they have found the missing chibok girls because I no long see nor hear #bringbackourgirls again oo.
