With all due respect, he captains a German team is not the same as the captain of Germany. These guys only opt to play for Nigeria when they can get in their European national team, period.
Having said that, they should be picked if they are deemed to be good enough. But this guy plays for the 'b' team in a domestic league. You wouldn't get work permit in UK if he were to move them (assuming he didn't have a Spanish passport of coz)
