That's how most men are. We live in a very patriarchal society. Recently, I got into a verbal fight with a bus conductor who refused to give me change because to him I had change and refused to pay with it. I told him I had the right to pay with any denomination I had. He and the driver threatened to drive off with my money until I started yelling. Everyone in that bus supported them and cursed me with all sorts of nasty words. I fired back with the same nasty words. He eventually gave me the change. It's not always good to join issues with such disrespectful and uncivilized people but sometimes one can't help but fight back or better still involve the police.

That's how most men are. We live in a very patriarchal society. Recently, I got into a verbal fight with a bus conductor who refused to give me change because to him I had change and refused to pay with it. I told him I had the right to pay with any denomination I had. He and the driver threatened to drive off with my money until I started yelling. Everyone in that bus supported them and cursed me with all sorts of nasty words. I fired back with the same nasty words. He eventually gave me the change. It's not always good to join issues with such disrespectful and uncivilized people but sometimes one can't help but fight back or better still involve the police.
